Honey Mustard Dressing
Ingredients:
| 1/2 Qt. |
Mayonnaise |
| 1/2 Qt. |
Sour Cream |
| 4 oz. |
Dijon Mustard |
| To color: |
Prepared Mustard |
| |
Grainy Mustard |
| about 1/4-1/2 cup |
Honey to taste |
| To taste: |
Worcestershire Sauce |
| |
Tabasco Sauce |
| |
Salt |
| |
White Pepper |
| |
Milk or Half & Half (to thin to proper consistency) |
| 2 cloves (optional) |
Garlic chopped fine |
Method:
- Using a wire whip, whisk the sour cream until smooth, add mayonnaise and whip until mayo and sour cream are both smooth.
- Add Dijon mustard and blend.
- Add Prepared mustard until dressing has a pleasing color.
- Add Grainy mustard until dressing has a interesting contrast.
- Add honey, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Add enough milk or 1/2 & 1/2 until dressing has the proper consistency. Dressing should coat greens easily.
- * Keep refrigerated.
Yield: 1 Quart +
