Honey Mustard Dressing

 

Ingredients:

  1/2 Qt.    Mayonnaise
  1/2 Qt.   Sour Cream
  4 oz.   Dijon Mustard
  To color:   Prepared Mustard
    Grainy Mustard
  about 1/4-1/2 cup   Honey to taste
  To taste:   Worcestershire Sauce
    Tabasco Sauce
    Salt
    White Pepper
    Milk or Half & Half (to thin to   proper consistency)
  2 cloves (optional)   Garlic chopped fine

 

Method:

  • Using a wire whip, whisk the sour cream until smooth, add mayonnaise and whip until mayo and sour cream are both smooth.
  • Add Dijon mustard  and blend.
  • Add Prepared mustard until dressing has a pleasing color.
  • Add Grainy mustard until dressing has a interesting contrast.
  • Add honey, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Add enough milk or 1/2 & 1/2 until dressing has the proper consistency.   Dressing should coat greens easily.
  • * Keep refrigerated.

 

Yield: 1 Quart +
