Mena Zaminsky holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology
with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy. She is a Licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist and a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor (CATC). She is
the Director of Outpatient Services at Walden House and also has a Psychotherapy
Private Practice. Mena is an adjunct faculty in the CCSF Drug & Alcohol Studies
Program where she teaches HLTH-100 (Introduction to Drug & Alcohol Studies) and
HLTH-77 (Co-Occurring Disorders) and has previously taught HLTH-76 (Group
Facilitation) and HLTH-83 (Motivational Counseling). Mena is also a member of
the Drug & Alcohol Studies Community Advisory Board and a past Board member of
the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association, where she previously
served as the Publications Committee Co-Chair, Newsletter Editor and Artist
Committee Co-Chair. Mena has also taught at JFK University, as well as provided
trainings on Using Expressive Arts Therapy in the Treatment of Addictions.
