Peer Mentor Program
For several years we have sponsored a very successful peer mentoring
program. Peer mentors assist students in all three areas of our
department: graphic design, digital production, and print production.
Peer mentors might work in classes alongside instructors, participate
in teaching students online, or meet with students one-on-one.
Peer mentors are trained in various aspects of leadership by sponsoring
faculty and by the CCSF mentoring office. While mentors are paid
a small fee for their services, many choose to volunteer, in order
to give back to the community. Mentors enjoy close contact with
faculty, as well as the rewards of keeping other students in school
and on a track toward success. In addition, mentors solidify their
own skills and deepen their knowledge of graphic design and production.
If you are interested in mentoring please contact faculty sponsors
Regina
Rowland, Amy
