Mission Statement

The mission of the Graphic Communications Department at City College of San Francisco is to:

• Provide entry-level job skills for individuals desiring to enter the design, production art and print production professions,
• Provide additional technical training and skills upgrades for individuals currently employed in graphic communications industries,
• Provide a 2-year foundation in graphic design for individuals desiring to transfer into a four-year university design program,
• Provide job skills for re-entry students,
• Design and produce informational and promotional materials for the college community.
