• Undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon BA in Romance Languages: Italian and French, Minor in Fine Art
• One year abroad at the University of Poitiers, France, studying French language and literature.
• MA from San Francisco State University in Industrial Arts with an emphasis on Graphic Design.
• Worked for an Architectural Publishing Co., Guidelines, doing layout.
• Worked for an Architectural school, San Francisco Institute of Architecture as a teacher's assistant and administrator. The school focused on organic architecture based on the work of Louis Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright and Bruce Goff, and had an Ecological Design program which studied alternative building materials and permaculture.
• Worked in the Bay Area and then in London England in signage design and production. In London I worked on the Covent Garden Opera House remodel project, which was completed in 1998.
• Trained and practicing letterpress printer.
• Currently I do freelance design and letterpress printing work.
