Michael Moore

Michael Moore was born in San Francisco. He attended grammar school
in the Mission District. Then went to St. Ignatius High School to
spend four years trying to learn enough to get into college. High
school was tough and the grades showed it, but he made a bunch of
lucky guesses on the SAT and went to Santa Clara University.
At Santa Clara University, he spent a lot of time at the student
newspaper, The Santa Clara, where he was a photographer, opinion
page editor and advertising manager. In his senior year, he talked
his way into an internship for Congressman Don Edwards of San Jose.
After working in the District of Columbia for Congressman Edwards,
Santa Clara let him graduate. Having nothing to do after graduation,
he found a job in Thailand teaching English at Assumption University.
He was in the Kingdom of Thailand when the "Childrens Revolution"
kicked out the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
Michael came back to the states, and Santa Clara not learning their
lesson in the first four years, let him back in. He stayed another
two years before they gave him another piece of paper and sent him
on his way.
He has worked at Peat Marwick & Mitchell, Bendix Corporation,
Bank of America, a couple of computer resellers and for a while
ran an instant print shop.
He is the webmaster of Pacific Masters Swimming and serves on the
Board of Directors of a local community bank. |
