GRPH 147 — Adobe Acrobat.

He has been teaching 25 years in the Graphic Communications Department.

Jerry is a graduate of the Graphic Arts Institute of San Francisco and has an AA Degree equivalent given for education and experience.

He has worked in the print industry for more than 40 years, in areas such as Letterpress — Composition and Press, Phototype — Typesetting, paste-up, darkroom, proofing and camera and Digital (Mac) Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Imposition and Trapping.

Jerry has worked at Attorneys Printing for 10 years (letterpress and phototype), Omnicomp/Insync Media for 27 years (typography, pre-press) and the San Francisco Chronicle for more than 3 years (composing department).

Jerry's teaching philosophy: "I try to make my students feel comfortable and relaxed so they open-up and are not uptight. I feel this is very important in order to have the student receptive to the information and the ease of asking questions."
