I started working as a photographer shortly after high school, in the resort town of Crested Butte, Colorado. My tenure as a professional ski photographer lasted for ten years. However, my priorities shifted over time as I developed as an artist, and I pursued a BFA in sculpture from the University of Colorado, Denver. Graduate school led me to California and a deepening interest in multimedia art and graphic design. While completing my MFA at Claremont Graduate University I worked as a graphic designer for a number of California non-profit art organizations. After graduation I combined my extensive photography background with the media arts, and helped develop the digital photography program at UCLA Extension. Today I am excited to be sharing my passion for design with the students at City College, as well as being principal partner in Future Light Digital Workshops.
