About the Cyberia Activity GuideThe Activity Guide, designed with CCSF students and faculty in mind, has been created to make reading and writing more meaningful and lab time more productive. By integrating video of CCSF students and faculty with instructional material, we hope the Cyberia Activity Guide will provide direction for both students and instructors using Web resources and computer software to support and deepen reading and writing practice. |
If you're a student ...Anyone who needs help with reading or writing may find the Activity Guide useful. If you are an English K, L, 9, 90, 91X, or 92 student, use the exercises in the Activity Guide to help you make meaningful use of your required lab hours. Remember, your teachers are your primary guides, so discuss the Cyberia resources with them. Once you have a good idea of what you're looking for and what you need more practice with, the reading and writing Web resources on the Cyberia home page will become that much more useful. |
If you're an instructor ...The Activity Guide has been created by CCSF instructors in order to document, guide, and share teaching and learning practices. This Guide could help instructors improve their use of CCSF’s lab resources or their integration of technology into a reading or writing class. Use the Activity Guide to target electronic writing and reading resources to help guide your students' learning outcomes. If you'd like to create an online syllabus with integrated online activities, course tasks, and lab guidance, jump here. Talk to your students about what’s helpful or what could be more helpful in the Guide. Here's a template to help you contribute to the Cyberia Activity Guide. Thank you in advance. |
