San Francisco Geology Field Trip & Story of Time & Life Exhibit tour
SUNDAY, December 12th -- 9 am to 3 pm
City College of San Francisco, 50 Phelan Ave., Science Hall -- Meet in Room S45

The field trip is sponsored by NAGT -- the National Association of Geoscience Teachers.
It is intended for Two-Year-college faculty,
their students, and their colleagues and collaborators.

Tentative Schedule:
9:00 a.m. Meet at City College Science Hall, Room 45 for a tour of the Story of Time and Life exhibit and department labs.
10:00 a.m. Depart on Field Trip of San Francisco Geology, during which we will explore the Franciscan Formation with stops in the Marin Headlands, Fort Point, and Sutro Baths.

Note: we will be guided to and through Pt. Bonita Lighthouse in the Marin Headlands by staff of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

3:00 p.m. Return to CCSF

City College Earth Sciences Department Chair and Professor of Geology and Oceanography.
Cost: $20 per person (covers transporation and lunch)
