Note: A personal
computer firewall blocks certain ports that may inhibit
access to some WebCT functions such as quizzes, discussions
and email. Personal firewall should open ports 4445 and
4567 both inbound and outbound.

Provider), go to www.thelist.com
CCSF uses WebCT Version 4.1 for online classes.
You do not need to download WebCT, but you need to check
if your browser is supported by going to the Browser
Tune up Page.

The Java version and update that works optimally is J2SE(TM) Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 7.
Your instructor may have further requirements.
For example, if you are taking a language class, your instructor
may recommend that you have a microphone. Please send your
instructor an email to ask about further requirements.
