| City College offers Distance Learning in several formats |

- Fully online courses. Take courses using a computer with internet connection anywhere.
- Hybrid courses (more than 51% online but some on-campus sessions). Take the majority of each course using a computer with internet connection anywhere and come on campus for some sessions. Some courses have mandatory on-campus orientations.
Online and Hybrid courses are not self-paced. Course assignments, quizzes and exams have deadlines, and the course follows the regular semester schedule.
A combination of videos, textbook, written assignments and phone contact
There are three mandatory on-campus sessions: orientation, midterm, and final exam.
Videos are available in several ways:
- Cable Channels 27 and 75 broadcast in San Francisco
- Media Center in Rosenberg 403 on Ocean campus
- Rental in VHS or DVD formats for most productions
City College of San Francisco has a (DSPS) available to help facilitate the reasonable accommodation process.
