Sandra Kolsom, CDA, RDA

Sandra A. Kolsom is a Dental Radiography Instructor at City College of San Francisco.  She received her formal dental assisting training at San Jose City College and received her teaching credentials through University of California Berkeley in 1976.  She has attended the Institute for Dental Radiology Instructors at the University of North Carolina.  Ms. Kolsom has over 13 years experience as a dental radiology instructor, and has taught at Chabot College & Santa Rosa Junior College.  Her past dental assisting experience includes periodontics, general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics and orthodontics.  She has also taught continuing education courses and keeps active in the dental field on a part time basis in an Orthodontic practice.  Sandy has reviewed prospective textbooks for Lippencott Publishing Company, and has revised continuing education courses in dental radiology for the American Dental Assistants Association.
