10 - Month Program
Dental Assisting Program prepares the student to successfully pass the
California State Licensure Examination to become a Registered Dental Assistant
(RDA) and the National Examination to become a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).
These courses are transferable to California State Universities.
Starting Salary: Approximately $15 per hour

Certified Dental Assistant Exam $225
Registered Dental Assistant Exam 300
1st Semester: Learn how to perform functions.
2nd Semester: Perform functions in clinical settings and internship in dental schools
and offices.
Entrance requirement: High school diploma or GED test
Requirements for completion of program:
Completion of ENGL 90 or ESL 150 (formerly ESL 72) or equivalent
Completion of BIO 9 or equivalent
Typing skill of 45 wpm or better
Dental Assisting courses with a grade of "C" or higher
