The Film Production Department has expanded into the area of digital film technology in both production and post-production. Digital cameras are now available to students as well as celluloid-based technology. There are also two new digital film-editing labs with industry standard editing software.

Through generous community donations, the department also offers more traditional film editing equipment.

Efforts have been made to improve projection quality through the purchase of new video projectors for the production studio, digital editing lab and lecture auditorium.

The sound lab has been upgraded to include a new mixing board and multi-track recorders along with additional film dubbers.
