Please note that Chemistry 101A and Chemistry 103A WILL NOT be offered in summer 2008.
Note: students who are considering taking Chem 40 but who are not sure about their placement level should enroll in Chem 40 and take the placement test. Those students who place into Chem 101A/103A will then have the option of dropping Chem 40 (a "W" will not appear on the transcript if a student drops by the end of the first week). Students who place into Chem 101A/103A are also permitted to take Chem 40 and may remain in that course if they choose.
