About the Plug-in you need
For MCWeb to work properly, you need to install the plug-in and font. You should install the plug-in first and don't attempt to access MCWeb until you have the plug-in and font installed. If you have issues with this, I can create a CD to loan you that might help, but first try the links below. You also need to set your computer to trust the CSUF website which is a very secure site and you should not hesitate to do this. You want to set the trust mode because you will continually see a Microsoft pop-up window asking to do this and it is annoying. To install the plug-in and set the trust permissions, click on the link below:
About the Font you need
There is one font that must be installed too. The easiest way to do this is to use the font installer. To use the font installer, you will have to download this file from the Titanium website and then open it. This is an executable file, but it has been checked for viruses and is clean. It will automatically install the font.
Sorry, the AOL browser won't work with MCWeb. You will need to download another browser. See more information regarding the IE download for AOL Users.
Once the plug-in and font is installed you can self-register at the MCWeb website. If you want some instructions with images on how to self-register, click on the link below.
You must use the Key that your instructor has annouced in class.

Since chemistry requires special characters, subscripts, and superscripts to write chemical equations and general solutions to problems, you are required to first take a font test before you can access any assignments. You might go through this Font Test with your class and instructor during your orientation to the chemistry computer studio.
You can view a video on how to take the Font Test here. Use the BACK button to return to this page.
If you prefer written instructions, this will walk you through how to take the font test.
