See the Bimolecular Elimination - Dehydrobromination reaction (middle of the page). It even has a reaction coordinate diagram to follow the energy path and see the transition state. Developed by the MolSci Project
at CSU-Fullerton. |

Particulate
Equilibrium To use with your white worksheet. |
Good simulation to see the mechanism of an equilibrium. Use the replay feature. If the link does not open the window with the JAVA simulation, make sure the URL in the address bar = http://cheminfo.chem.ou.edu/~mra/Equilp/RGB.htm Developed by MoLE Project - Dr. John Gelder at Oklahoma State University and Dr. Michael Abraham at University of Oaklahoma. Worksheet developed by the FLASH project. |

See the section on Isotopes and Radioactivity. JAVA required. I recommend Netscape 4.7x to explore the site. |

K and Extent of Reactions; Download this file for Excel ( 300 K file size ) |
Not assigned for Spring 2008. Ask me about it if you need to review Chapter 6 concepts. This is an Excel file that uses Macros. It is clean of any macro viruses. Right click to download the file to the desktop. Follow the instructions given on the worksheet (ask me for it). You may work in pairs. Use Excel 97 or Excel 2000. I am not sure if it works with Excel for XP. |
