Textbook ResourcesGeneral, Organic And Biochemistry, by James Armstrong
Additional relevant problems for Chem 32The following link provides problems from the “cumulative problems” sections (at the back of each chapter) that relate directly to the material we are covering in Chem 32. These problems are not required homework, but they are a useful resource if you are looking for additional practice.
Answers to problems from the textbookThe following links will allow you to download answer keys to all of the "try it yourself" exercises from the sample problems, all of the end-of-section problems, and the odd-numbered problems at the end of each chapter. These files are in PDF format. Note: the fall 2008 and spring 2008 versions of the textbook are different; this website gives answer keys to both versions. Answer keys to versions prior to spring 2008 are not available.
4th Preliminary Edition (the version used fall 2009) Chapter 1
Resources for users of the 3rd preliminary editionThis semester, we are using the 4th preliminary edition of the textbook. However, you may use the 3rd preliminary edition (Spring 2008) if you have it or can obtain a copy. 3rd and 4th Edition Problem Correlation Table
3rd Preliminary Edition (Spring 2008 version) Answer Keys Note: for chapters 1 through 12, most of the problems in the 3rd and 4th editions are the same. The 4th edition answer keys for several of these chapters are more detailed than the 3rd edition keys, so you may wish to check both versions if you are using the 3rd edition of the book.
