Chemistry 32

Spring 2009

Introduction to Medical Chemistry

Instructor: Torrey Glenn

Chemistry 32 is a one-semester course covering basic principles of chemistry, with emphasis on organic chemistry and biochemistry. The course is designed to meet the needs of students pursuing a degree in a variety of health-related areas. It is also intended as preparation for those students intending to take Microbiology or Physiology at CCSF, and for students in the biotechnology and biomanufacturing certificate programs.

Note that Chem 32 does not satisfy the prerequisite for Chem 101A or Chem 103. If you plan to take either of these courses, you should enroll in Chem 40.
