Note: for chapters 1 through 12, most of the problems in the 3rd and 4th editions are the same. The 4th edition answer keys for several of these chapters are more detailed than the 3rd edition keys, so you may wish to check both versions if you are using the 3rd edition of the book.

Problem correlation table: this list matches every problem from the 3rd edition with the corresponding problem from the rth edition (if there is one). If you are using the 3rd edition and your instructor assigns problems from the 4th edition, this list will help you to do the correct problems.
