Internship Opportunities

Every semester the Department of Biology and the Center of Habitat Restoration at City College of San Francisco offer students the opportunity to gain work experience either on campus or off campus by interning with one of the many environmental organizations in the Bay area. One to four units of academic credit are available if you are concurrently enrolled in a biology course. Please contact Crima Pogge for more information.

    Volunteer Opportunities

While internships start towards the beginning of each semester and require at least a semester-long commitment, the CHR also provides volunteer opportunities which only require a day-long commitment. Volunteer work at various sites includes invasive plant removal as well as native species planting. Check out the Upcoming Events page or Contact the CHR office for more details if you are interested.
