Details

Designed to encourage students to complete a credit or noncredit course of study in the Business Department, up to six $500 scholarships are awarded during the spring semester. A student may be working toward a major, an award of achievement, a credit certificate of completion, or a noncredit certificate of completion in any course of study in the Business Department. The scholarships are competitive and awarded on the basis of academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, and financial need.  

Eligibility

• Be currently enrolled in at least 3 units of credit Business Department classes or 5 hours/week of noncredit Business Department classes, or the equivalent combination.   
• Completion of at least 6 units of credit instruction with a minimum of 2.0 GPA or satisfactory completion of 175 hours of noncredit instruction or the equivalent combination.
• Former scholarship recipients must wait one semester before reapplying.

How to Apply

Submit the following:

• Application plus the following documentation
• Letter of no more than 2 pages describing your career goals, educational plans, and financial need
• Current letter of recommendation from a faculty member of the CCSF Business Department
• Unofficial CCSF transcript and courses in progress
