The Bridge to Biotech provides a rigorous and engaging
introduction to biotechnology. Bridge students learn essential
laboratory skills while at the same time strengthening the math
and language skills that they will need for success in the biotechnology
Students who would like to get internship and job placement assistance will have the opportunity to take advantage of the Bridge’s Internship and Job Preparation (IJP) Program. Additional coursework during the Bridge and the following semester prepares program participants for worthwhile work as interns in local research laboratories. Job placement assistance is provided to program graduates.
The biotech certificate programs provide all the classroom and
hands-on laboratory training needed for entry-level employment in
the areas of manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, and
research and development.
