Internship: Civic Center Complex
The Civic Center Complex is offering internships for students of horticulture, botany, and community service. Interns will learn pruning, weeding, planting, resting and dormancy, curing disease, and killing pests. You practice using tool, proper body mechanics, and ethnobotany. Other benefits include learning the way of plants, becoming familiar with San Francisco parks, gaining practical, introductory experience in gardening as a hobby, profession, or as relaxation, exercise and fresh air, and helping the community.
