Besides connecting students with outside organizations who provide internships, the Center for Habitat Restoration (CHR) also offers internships, both on and off campus.
Produce CHR’s bi-yearly newsletter A New Leaf, a publication that highlights some of the other internship projects and local environmental issues. Practice journalism, writing, editing, researching, photography, and interviewing skills and learn about habitat restoration in the process.
Maintain and update the CHR website. Put your website design skills into action to help make the CHR internet posting creative, informative and eye-catching!
Help design an attention-grabbing native plant area at City College that both beautifies the campus and educates the campus community about the importance of native plants.
To get involved with one of the Center for Habitat Restoration’s internships, contact Crima Pogge at (415) 239-3605 or cpogge@ccsf.edu or visit the CHR office at City College of San Francisco in Science Hall, room 312A (SEE CONTACT INFO).
