portfolio preparation & independent study
The Independent Study courses are offered only for students who have completed all of the regular scheduled sessions of a given area of study in the Art Department. Students need to make personal arrangements with a sponsoring instructor prior to signing up for these classes. Not all disciplines or instructors may wish to participate in the independent studies courses.

ART 185. Portfolio Preparation (3)

This course is designed to enable the art student to organize and present a body of work in an effective and professional manner for transfer, advanced study opportunities and/or career preparation. Through hands-on practice, lectures, demonstrations and critiques, the student gains the requisite skills for portfolio development. CSU
