The AS Council at Southeast, working hand in hand with the AS Council at the Ocean Campus, provides for the following services:

Cultural events and activities
Emergency student loan program
HARTS (Homeless AT Risk Transitional Students)
Student Health Center
Students Supporting Students
Women’s Resource Center

The Associated Students also advocates for the student body on issues of campus safety, cultural diversity, social and political awareness, improving access to higher education, and building a sexual-harassment-free campus.  To contact the Associated Student Council at Southeast Campus, stop by room 406 or call (415) 550-4341.

The Peer Mentoring Program
The Office of Peer Mentoring at Southeast Campus works hand in hand with the Office of Mentoring and Student Learning at the Ocean Campus. The mission of the Office of Peer Mentoring at Southeast Campus is to enhance student learning, promote teaching innovations and involvement, respond to community needs and foster civic responsibility and personal growth.

The Peer Mentors, recruited by faculty members, have been through a course or program and know the challenges that students  face. Mentors, with the direction of a faculty sponsor, offer academic and personal support to help students succeed. The mentors have gone through orientation and training that allow them to recognize the individual needs of each student and approach the student with care, dedication and support.
