Bookstore

Books for all classes offered at the campus are available at the Castro/Valencia Campus Bookstore in Room 112. Days and hours of operation of the bookstore for Fall  2008 are the following dates and times ONLY: from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. August 18th through 21st and 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. August 25th through 28th. Payment may be made by cash, personal check, Visa or MasterCard. After this period, the bookstore is no longer at the Castro/Valencia campus. After August 28, the bookstore leaves our campus and book sales/book returns will be available only at the Ocean Avenue campus bookstore at 50 Phelan Ave.  The regular hours of the Ocean Avenue Bookstore are 7:45 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p. m. on Friday. Language Tapes
Duplication of language tapes for foreign language classes is available at the Castro/Valencia campus. Students provide blank tapes and a minimal duplication fee to the site supervisor in the campus office. The completed tapes are then returned to the student, usually within a week. For additional information, see the site supervisor. The Language Laboratory is located at the Ocean campus (452-5555). Lab hours for Fall 2008 are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m..


Refreshments
snack barCoffee, soft drinks, juices, and snacks are available at the James Lick Middle School PTA-sponsored refreshment stand located on the first floor near the middle school’s main office. The refreshment stand is open 30 minutes prior to the start of classes through the “class break” time. Proceeds from the refreshment sales benefit the students of the James Lick Middle School.


Library Services
The CCSF Library and Learning Resources offer various workshops and class presentations at the Castro/Valencia campus. Students may request a library bar code by either visiting one of the five CCSF libraries or by emailing the circulation department at the Rosenberg Library (www.ccsf.edu/Library/eref.html).
